In 2021 we began our journey towards becoming a Carbon Net Zero Company and developed our Sustainability Initiatives Plan. This involved calculating our Carbon footprint and identifying any hotspot areas where emission reductions would make the greatest impact. This included our fleet, production warehouse and office. In order to become Carbon Net Zero, DGD Shredding committed to reducing or eliminating these emissions through a number of initiatives and offsetting where this was not possible.
DGD Shredding achieved Carbon Net Zero status in our scope 1 & 2 emissions for 2023.
DGD Shredding is planning on achieving Carbon Net Zero status in our scope 3 emissions for 2024.
DGD Shredding is committed to the preservation of our environment for the future generations to come.
